I'll have to take your word for it. I make a lot of effort to avoid listening to Bro Country, at all costs.

Meh, it was alright. I've definitely heard worse.

Never use Luke Bryan and “good” in the same sentence. Chances are he didn’t even write the song and his guitar skills are just mediocre at best. He’s a hack.

quote:
All week long it's a farming town, they're making that money grow
Tractors, plows with flashing lights backing up a two lane road
They take one last lap around
That sun up high goes down
And that song come on girl kick it on back, Z71 like a Cadillac
We go way out where there ain't nobody
We turn this cornfield into a party
Pedal to the floorboard end up in a
Four door burning up a backroad song
Park it and we pile out
Baby watch your step now, better have your boots on
Kick the dust up
Back it on up
Fill your cup up
Let's tear it up up
And kick the dust up
Bar downtown they got a line of people way out the door
10 dollar drinks, it's packed inside
I don't know what they're waiting for
Got me a jar full of 'Clear, and I got that music for your ears
And it's like knock, knock, knock goes the diesel
If you really wanna see the beautiful people
We go way out where there ain't nobody
We turn this cornfield into a party
Pedal to the floorboard end up in a
Four door burning up a backroad song
Park it and we pile out
Baby watch your step now, better have your boots on
Kick the dust up
Let's back it on up
Fill your cup up
Lets tear it up up
And kick the dust up
Come on
Just follow me down 'neath the 32 bridge you oughta be glad you did
Kick it
We go way out where there ain't nobody
We turn this cornfield into a party
Pedal to the floorboard end up in a
Four door burning up a backroad song
Park it and we pile out
Baby watch your step now
Better have your boots on
Kick the dust up (kick the dust up)
Back it on up
Fill your cup up
That's what's up up
Let's kick the dust up

I didn’t listen to it but this is really terrible.

To be fair, that isn't the song OP was referring to.
Those are the lyrics to "Kick The Dust Up", OP is referring to "Up".
He also has a song called, "Light It Up" and another called "Pick It Up".
Confusing, I know.

He apparently also has a song he recorded called “spring break up”

I like some of his earliest songs but the dude is basically the embodiment of the bro country movement.

I guess these are the lyrics:
Up
Early in the morning wakin' that sun
Up
Fillin' that coffee, crankin' that tractor
Up
Prayin' it rains down on the devil's dust
Them rows come poppin'
Up
In the sky, there's a guy
Lookin' down on us
Lookin' up
Our whole life, raised up right
In a town nobody knows
What a way to grow
Up
Rollin' 'round town in a hand me down old pickup
Pullin' in the driveway pickin' that pretty thang
Up
Just layin' low where heaven and a dirt road touch
Holdin' a cold one
Up
In the sky, there's a guy
Lookin' down on us
Lookin' up
Our whole life, raised up right
In a town nobody knows
What a way to grow
Up
Up
On a Sunday pond bank tearin' that crank bait
Up
Livin' for a Friday, runnin' that scoreboard
Up
Keepin' that faith, waitin' on the day He calls us
Up
In the sky, there's a guy
Lookin' down on us
Lookin' up
Our whole life, raised up right
In a town nobody knows
What a way to grow
Up
Mm, mm-mm, mm-mm
Lets compare that to Farmers Blues by Marty Stuart:
Who'll buy my wheat, who'll buy my corn
To feed my babies when their born?
Seeds and dirt, a prayer for rain, that I can use
I work the land, I watched the sky
I talk to God and wonder why
But it's the only life I'd know, these farmer's blues
I see the seasons come and go
Sending rain, fire and snow
I'm at the mercy of it all, this life I choose
Sometimes I hang my head and cry
When that evening train goes by
Wish it could take me far away
These farmer's blues
The tractor's old, the fence is down
Put own my suit and go to town
I ask for a loan, and I know well, they might refuse
But back at home, still by my side
The one I love with worried eyes
Waits for me, to love away, these farmer's blues
I see the seasons come and go
Sending rain, fire and snow
I'm at the mercy of it all, this life I choose
Sometimes I hang my head and cry
As that evening train goes by
Wish it could take me far away
