Been listening to Lola vs power man super deluxe lately. Some seriously awesome tracks on that album.
Every time I come back to the kinks I get stuck on them. I’m like that in general with bands, but the Kinks are one of my favorites. Very interesting and diverse music without ever really trying to be very trippy or out there. All the while maintaining a similar rock based style.
My dad used to play soap opera for us in the car on the way to school. I’m grateful for that.
