I used to hang out with a girl whose Dad played drums in Van's band. Sorry to hear about this; I always enjoyed watching them perform.

Mr. Van was a great musician and a great man. He was an old friend of my family from way back in the 60’s. A true Louisiana legend. Swamp Pop won’t be the same without Mr. Van.
