Both are very talented. But musical proficiency it's Trey and it ain't even close.

Prolly not. Saw my first Dead show in '85 at the Fox in ATL and spent the next 6-7 years on spring and summer Dead tour with a few dozen Jerry band shows in the winter. I saw Panic in a cave in Ga before no one outside the SE had hardly heard of them. I still play around B'ham on occasion too.

eta- I did not go this year but I wasn't commenting on their respective sets, just musicianship. Watching on AXS

I don't play in a band anymore. Married, family etc. you know. I have friends that I'll sit in with in occasion. Bourbon and Bleach buddy. Jason Henly. Used to play with Mark Kimbrell way back in the day. Pre Itchy Wigs. Prolly favorite player ever. Amazing.
