I recently met a bartender in New Orleans (Turtle Bay) and we introduced ourselves. Her name was Elise. I mentioned that it was the title of a fantastic song by the Cure and she said that her Dad named her after the song. She ended up playing it moments later and we rocked out to it.

I like they did an actual unplugged show unlike how the unplugged started not being unplugged, but give me wish or disintegration album.
There is just something about that first minute of plainsong that puts me in an entirely cured mood. It touches the soul.

A Letter To Elise is one of my favorite songs from any band. Changed quite a bit lyrically from the version that landed on Wish. My daughter's middle name may or may not be Elise.
