I like The Cars, but I don't think I need to hear any of their big hits ever again..
I don't ever say I have a favorite band. It's just not something I can ever do. OTOH, The Cars would be in the conversation. Let's Go, Just What I needed, Best Friend's Girlfriends, It's All I Can Do, and Bye Bye Love will always be in my rotation. Having said that, I can probably do without almost everything after Candy-O at this point.

Here is an earlier "monitor mix"version. There are a few subtle differences from what was released on the album.

The hits that Orr sang on are some of my absolute favorites of that American New Wave movement.
Man for man, The Cars were as talented as any band out there.

I still remember how jealous I was when Ocasic married that Polish model that was on a few of their videos.

YouTube reviewer Airplay Beats said 'The Cars showed us what the 80s were going to sound like'.

Best unreleased Cars song in my opinion. Strawberry Moonlight.
Good song. Another good song that was never released as a single is , Take Me Now.

Check out the multi-talented Greg Hawkes on saxophone in this live version of Moving in Stereo/All Mixed Up.

Here are the Cars with Hawkes on GUITAR! A 3-pronged attack! The man does it all. Not sure if this one was ever released.

Speaking of 80’s videos
On this day in 1980, The Cars released their third studio album “Panorama” featuring singles “Touch and Go" “Don't Tell Me No" and “Gimme Some Slack"

I’ll say this… the Cars debut album is one of the greatest ever in any genre…. For me personally it’s a close # 2 to Bostons debut…..

Live.
EE has said the band initially didn't like the solo. Glad they changed their minds!

Easton gives it a great Marlboro Man sound on Touch and Go. Not a big hit, but one of my favorites.
