saw them in telluride in September it was just OK. Very subdued

Saw them open for Greensky Bluegrass at Red Rocks last month. They put on a helluva show.

I was at Tip's. They were great. Tight band, great horns, and Josh Teskey's vocals are as bluesy as anyone out there today.
Whoever said "chick rock" is crazy. This is straight blues rock with a touch of R&B. Some of these songs could have come straight out of Otis Redding's catalog.

That would be me. And it’s definitely chick rock. I’m glad you liked it, but to compare them to Otis Redding is laughable. It was sold out for a reason… chicks. Or did you feel like they were singing those lyrics straight to you?

I never literally compared them to Otis Redding, who is one of my all-time favorites. I said some of their songs sound like something from Otis' catalog. As far as the rests of your comments, whatever dude. I take it you weren't there, so why do you think it was all chicks?
