Hind sight 20/20 on Vo0doo.. Weather is supposed to be real pretty Friday afternoon and I doubt it will be crowded for a 1:15 show on a smaller stage.. that being said, I still wouldn't go.

No, Im not going to voodoo... I really enjoy SS's records, but I probably wouldn't be going to Mobile if a lot of my pals weren't going.. but it's a good weekend to get out of town, too..

Listening to the Joe Rogan podcast and Sturgill says that his plan is to only release five total albums. An album per year, each album hitting on different themes, and then he is done with music.

That was one interesting podcast! I was sad to hear the only 5 albums part, but he seems to be all over the place with his future plans. There were reports earlier in the year that he might be giving up already. From SCM blog last May:

How confident are we that there will be a 2015 BR show? I hate to drop $75 for a 1 hour set at Voodoo (at 1:00 on a Friday no less) if he will be here in the near future, but I'm considering it
