They released some really great seats, including pit for this show. It must be from the returns after the date change because it was nearly sold out before.

We kept ours. Wonder if we should upgrade?

Where are your seats? The venue is pretty big.

200 level. Toward one side.

I’ve been there before. We are talking about Sugarland right? Did he add a Houston date?

Yes, smart financial center. I sat toward the back on the floor and it was really far away. If you can swing it, I'd upgrade your seats and sell what you have for face. It'll be 100% worth it, he's going to tear that place down.

Looks like they’ve added a guest?

Anybody know the time frame for main acts? I’m at work now. I’ve only been to one show there and they were on time with no opening act.

You sure on those times? I’d hate to stop for a beer first and be screwed. My pre show beer consumption hinges on your answer sir.

No pressure. Lol

I understand the seriousness of this info, haha. The 8pm start time for the opener is from the venue. So I would think that puts Sturgill on at 9ish.

Dang. Appreciate the offer. Wish I’d have seen this. I’d have at least bought you a couple beers. Unless those email numbers are your birthday. Then I’d have bought u a coke and nachos. Lol

My first time seeing him. He was awesome. Still wish he had the guitar player with him though. Only thing better than one dude wailing on guitar is two dudes wailing on guitar. I wanted him to do more acoustic than he did, but that’s just being picky.

That's about $100 at Smart Centre...

Was there as well. Awesome show. Liked the extended jams on several of the tunes. Had heard he could shred on the guitar and he did not disappoint.

Haha that's my child's bday. We ended up giving them to a couple people we saw heading up stairs. Show was great. They are so tight as a four piece, the extended jams were awesome. He posted on Instagram that was the last show of the year.

Was a strange venue to see Sturgill...I miss the horns...the organ just isn’t enough soul for me. Also, the beers at that place might as well be gold bullion...for fricks sake did that cost me a fortune.

The beer is titty bar pricey. I just buy the big 24 oz. draft. $6 a beer. It hurts but what are u gonna do?

I do miss the horns on The Promise. Sturgill can play his arse off but it has to take away something from his vocals? He needs a lead guitar player. It is pretty damned cool when the rhythm guitar player I see the singer and his guitar parts are tough as hell too. Or it gives him the opportunity to bang around on his acoustic while the other guy plays lead on a Tele.

He is on my short list. Sturgill and Pearl Jam and John Prine. If they get within 100 miles of me I am there.
