Strand of oaks - "Heal" 2014

along with the war on drugs, here's another album that is 10 years old in 2024.
to me this is one of the best rock records of the last 20 years. it really has everything. it's fun/happy, it's sad, and has a ton of dynamics and varied instrumentation. when I saw them live they blew me away with how hard they rocked.
anyways, here's some tracks from heal if you haven't already listened to this one:

Amazing album. I met Tim at Hogs when he played several years ago. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. Love everything about this record. Great pull.

Great album. Like all of his albums. Saw him play a set at Hangout during the middle of the day... weird place to see him.

Still remember hearing a piece about this album on NPR when it came out. Still love the song JM
