Great thread! I vacation in Kauai in June during the summers and learned about these bands over the years by listening to local radio stations. All of the groups mentioned are good vibe music.

Dude, they just did a summer long tour with them. I saw them together at the Woodlands pavilion in July.

Iration was in Nola last month.

It was an awesome show.

I first heard SF on the radio 5 years ago while vacationing on Kauai. Now I have every album they have put out. Great album art too. After discovering them I started searching for similar music in the genre and discovered all the bands listed in this thread. I love The Elovaters and Come and Get It is my favorite by them. Collie Man by Slightly Stoopid is a great singalong.

Surfer Girl is one I haven’t seen listed. I met their lead singer Carter Reeves when they opened for The Elovaters about a year ago. He was very nice and spent about 15 minutes just talking with me and my wife about Kauai as he and his fiancé were getting married there a couple months later. Evil and Constellations are a couple of songs he wrote that I really like.
