I don't post much, but my son is the drummer in Sorry Ghost from Baton Rouge and they just got to release their first album. They are all LSU grads trying to make it.
They are alternative rock and usually compared to Blink-182. The article below calls them punk/pop. If you like that kind of music please check them out if you can.

Matt sent it to me last week. I’ve already streamed it through 3 times. Anyone interested in pop punk or emo would probably dig this album. However, that genre is definitely not for everyone.

I am a metal guy and I grew up playing metal. I play in Burnhouse. We played at the varsity and house of blues together

Played a bunch of shows with you, too, including that disaster I organized at Mid City Ballroom last year.
