If his son did the production for that track, the production was significantly better than the rapping.
Look, he's 15 and people can improve, so I'm not gonna tell the kid to stop trying. If he's still in the same place after 2-3 years, yeah, then it's time to move on.
If he did production for that track though, I'd focus on that. You make better, simpler money as a producer anyways. The production was the best part of that track.

If he loves to run his mouth and babble incoherently, just send him to law school. At least he will have an income and won't resort to dealing drugs.

100% stay in school or at the very least go to a real music school and try to learn about the other avenues in the music world besides auto-tuning a vocal track.
