...for beginners? I have no experience and I am having trouble finding videos that begin with the very basics. I have a Dunlap glass "tube" and a cooler looking wine bottle top. Now I want to sound bluesy!

Thanks!

Learn the open tunings.. G,D,E,A It'll start making a little more sense. Work on your intonation and your muting. I'm sure there are hundreds of youtube videos out there. Practice a lot

Slide is difficult. When I started learning, I learned the differences in the slide its self. The thicker the slide, the thicker the tone. Think Derek Trucks. A thin slide will produce a thin sound like Ronnie Wood has with the Stones.

Drop the pick and learn to mute all the strings your not playing and only allow the string your playing on to be open.

Start to get an idea of the tone you want and listen to how the player plays. Be able to "sing" the notes per se.
