Searched and didn't see any discussion of Sleep Token. I just scored some tickets to their show at Red Rocks. The Summoning has been a lot of people's gateway into their music. It's in a weird genre between metal and TOOL. The 5:00 mark is one of the greatest moments in music I've experienced.

Took me a bit to catch on, but their whole latest album is great, my favorite album of the year by far. Really dig how they blend metal with a little poppy stuff thrown in there together, mixes up just right

If you like Sleep Token, check out Demon Hunter. Very similar sound.

Not hating, but I think I'm just too old.

Love them. Been listening to them a ton lately. Good mix of some different genres and just a very unique sound.

They just announced a show at Red Rocks in May.

I managed to score Red Rocks tickets despite the bots scooping them all up. Seems people are traveling far and wide to see them in Colorado.

Outstanding band. One of my favorites. Ascensionism is probably my favorite.

II just did an interview and playthrough for Drumeo. Dudes chops are on point. Great video.

Listed his influences as Jordison, Tony Royster, Eric Moore, Abe Cunningham. You can hear all in his playing.

Not a typical reaction. 1st time listen but breaks down vocal and recording techniques that I'd never have noticed. Really cool watch.

They played at Riot this year but I saw Death Cab for Cutie and waiting for Queens for the Stone Age instead... They played on their stage right before ICP, so I'm assuming that was "something". Perfectly fine band I guess but I have no idea how you get comparisons to Tool from listening to it though.
