LTJ was great, but a few I'm not sure we're mentioned:

The Hippos
Skankin' Pickle
Slow Gherkin
Link 80

you need to reread the thread my friend

I remember seeing Link 80 at some little shitty room in fat city. A bunch of HS kids had shown up to watch the local HS bands play and there were literally like 15 people left when Link 80 took the stage. My friends and I were blown away why nobody stayed to watch the "headliner"

Never Saw SP live but did see Mike Park with his other band at ska vs racism tour on good Friday in 97 or 98...can't really remember. LTJ, Specials, MU330, Blue Meanies all played that night...voodoo glowskulls played the next day at HOB in the afternoon. Awesome weekend.

Blue Meanies were insanely good live. I saw them with Mephaskapheles. No, I'm not making that band up.

"Verbal Kint" by Link 80 is still my pump up music.

The Urge

I saw this band open up for someone(311 I think) some time in the mid 90's. I didn't think anyone else remembered them.

iterally all I listened to in High School I've probably seen LTJ 15 times

Buck-O-nine suicide machines MU330 Blue Meanies VooDoo Glowskulls Mustard Plug The Aquabats Skankin Pickle Rancid Bruce Lee Band Goldfinger Link 80 Me first and the Gimme Gimmes

were my favorites

also NOLA had a pretty good ska/punk/hardcore scene out at 9 mile point in westwego in the mid/late 90s. The Supaflies probably had the most "success" out of any of them. They were pretty cool guys.

Wow those bands remind me of high school and my brothers group of friends.

Hell he was in that band you mentioned, the Supaflies
