Have any of you guys ever heard of Postmodern Jukebox, also known as PMJ for short? They are a collective of musicians and singers led by Scott Bradlee that put new and modern contemporary music in a time machine and rework it into different vintage genres such as jazz and swing.

Here’s a few examples:

Radiohead’s "Creep": LINK

The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army": LINK

Britney Spears "Oops I Did it Again": LINK

Here’s a link to their YouTube music channel: LINK

They tour almost constantly and if you ever get a chance to go to one of their shows, I’d highly recommend it as they put on a really amazing and very fun show.

I would be amazed if someone said that he/she had never heard of them.

I love their stuff.

Morgan James is my favorite singer.

Haley Reinhart is my favorite vocalist as you can tell from the videos I posted.

Well I had never heard of them but I just listened to five or so songs and I really like them. I bet it is a great show. (And chick is hot as hell.) When they come south I hope somebody will post some tour dates. I will travel for a good show.

I just can't take Morgan James seriously. The first video I watched of her was her doing the entire John Mayer album Continuum acoustically. There is not a hard song to sing on that entire album and I only made it through about 3 or 4 songs. For the songs to not be vocally challenging at all she constantly was contorting her face looking like she was trying to squeeze out a turd.

They just did a show in N.O. on the 23rd last month. Nonetheless, here's a link to their website that you can bookmark where you can check on tour dates and purchase tickets: LINK
