Ive seen these guys several times and its always a good show. I got a little curious about who these guys are IRL and it seems to be a pretty well kept secret. I cant find anything about who they are or where they are from. Anybody have the info?

I've known Sir Devon Nooner for years. Went to college together.

you deliberately tried to see an 80's cover band at a casino?

and more than once?

Yes I did. Those guys are awesome especially if you grew up in the 80's. If not then I guess I could see why you might not be interested.

Are not one or more of Cat 6 former Ringwalds? One is a former LSU Baseballer.

Both put on a good fun show, enjoy them on Chimes retro nights, Saints Grand Isle weekend, Nawlins area festivals, etc..

I grew up in the 90s and dont even love that style of music. I don't dislike it, I just prefer the rock before and after (70s and grunge). I still think they're awesome though and would see them again.

I think there's a difference between being down for them at a food festival you'd otherwise go to... and going to a casino to catch them intentionally

I really don't think you go to a Ringwalds show to have some kind of musical epiphany or acquire cred. You slam a few beers and sing along with superghey old songs before going home to drill your old lady's brains out. Somebody please point out the downside of that?

I think they are a lot of fun but I wonder how it works at Lauberge since they shut everyone down at 10pm. Seems like a buzz kill since their shows at Varsity definitely went longer.
