This dude from near Newcastle, England recently released a pretty great album with heavy American influences. His music reminds me of The War On Drugs, Springsteen, Johnny Marr, Ryan Adams, and Brandon Flowers as far as his voice goes. Good to hear someone not from London or Manchester making it big over there and singing working class songs with meaningful lyrics.
