Sad weekend for the TX Country scene...

Wade Bowen's sound guy (Rich Caldwell) was killed Thursday night when his car went of the road and flipped upside down into a river.

His funeral was yesterday. As his friends were mourning him, they found out that another friend, Mark "Gus" McCoy disappeared Saturday night while rafting in Idaho. They have not found his body. Gus was the original bass player for Micky & The Motorcars.

If you're the praying type, send one up for these guys, their families, friends and bandmates. Rich left behind a wife and young son.
