My main box right now is a K. Yairi DY38, I am going tonight to look at an S.Yairi 710 Dreadnaught. Very little info online about these, as the production numbers were very low.
Anybody with experience?

All the Yairi stuff is incredible on the bang for buck/value scale. The Yairis are all family, "S" is Sadao. Kazuo, "K," was his nephew. You'd be foolish to think there wasn't teaching/mentoring, borrowing idealogy and techniques, etc. The main thing to be mindful of with Yairis are possible neck reset needs due to age in the case of 60s, 70s, 80s pieces. Resets are significant structural repairs and they aren't cheap. Often Yairis that are priced well below market are like that for good reason - they are in dire need of structural restoration to be fully playable, functional instruments.

Well, the seller was a no-show. I sent her a message to let me know if she gets serious about selling it.
