And I fricking missed them when they came to Dallas last year. I'm a fricking idiot and I was just thinking about how much I regretted missing them about two hours before I saw this. I hate myself.

So glad I got to see them 3 times overall & saw the final Rush 40 tour in Dallas. They filmed the Toronto show for DVD/CD so go get it. The set list is unreal. One of the greatest bands of all time.

Last time I saw them I had already said never again. Geddy's voice was unintentional comedy. They can't play forever and I think it's wise of them to know when it's time to hang it up.

Until they un-retire 5 years from now for a huge tour announcement...

I love classic rock as much as anyone but I could never listen to rush. I was open minded and gave it a few tries of listening but the vocals in my mind are horrendous. Go ahead and give me backlash but that's what I think. I like a more powerful voice.

Geddy Lee's voice is just the tip of the iceberg of Rush. Lyrics, Peart's drumming, Lifeson's guitar work are all top notch. The meaning and depth of the song's speak to your soul. I think his voice was just the cherry on the top because it wasn't run of the mill growling and wailing. Keep listening and you will gradually give in to the greatness.
