I'm just curious what's so special about this?

Granted I have completely forgotten Carson Daly even existed after my TRL days.....

Very meh.... Just not my style at all. I wouldn't mind wiggling it around inside that red head for a bit thought

I'm not trying to slag them or anything, and I'm glad they are making some waves - but it just sounds too over polished, too poppy. They need to dirty that shite up more with some distortion or something. It just reminds me of a shampoo commercial. It makes me want to buy a Motorolla phone or something?

Same here. To me they just sound like a Givers knockoff

I'm pretty sure that's what they are going for.

They are catchy and the music is good. I like the girls voice, but the guys voice annoys me big time.

That's kind of what they're going for. It's pop music.

Only some of the percussion stuff really. Vocally, not at all IMO.

Yes, I get that. I'm just a music critic. Being that I DJ, Produce/Engineer Music, and work for a company in the music business, I tend to hear things that I think can be done better. Ya know, I'm pretty much Mr Perfect

go go band from La! Baby Teeth seems a more appropriate name for them. They just sound like an even more fluffier version of Givers. as if "oh...we, up up up...we down down down" isn't poppy.

The givers comparisons are only because they both have members from Lafayette.

They really aren't similar at all... From the song structures, to the lyrical content, to the chord progressions and overall feel of the band.

I listened to the first minute of the track in this thread and it WREAKS of GIVERS, the same way Muse WREAKS of Queen.

Because they're both British?
