Went to see Robert Cray at L'auBerge Friday night and he was exceptional. Very accomplished guitarist that played effortlessly. I wish this venue was better because it is such an easy and nice night out for the wife and I (dining, music & gambling). The crowd was extremely chatty and rudely loud at times. I think they were still in football mode lol. Anybody else make the show?

Love him and his music. Saw him in Shreveport at the Strand Theater many years ago. It was incredible. Great talent.

Went to see James McMurtry at the Manship Friday instead. Wish they weren't playing the same night.

I get the reference. Indeed, he was a Knight.

We love the Manship Theater. Best venue in these parts, not even close.

I've seen him a couple of times at Jazz Fest and HOB NOLA. He has a good soulful voice to go along with great guitar skills. Hope he pulled in a good crowd at L'Auberge.
