I guess there have been so many musical heroes from my youth that are gone now that I am becoming somewhat numb/philosophical about it. I'm looking at this from the perspective of if you jumped into a time machine back to the late 70s/early 80s and told any member of the Grateful Dead they were going to live to be 84 years old they would have thought you were on better drugs than they were.
