Shannon Hoon died 27 yrs ago today in 1995, he was 28yrs old. One of the most underrated front men of all time. Soup is still one of my top 10 albums of all time.
We were planning to see him that night at Tipitina's but it was never meant to be. RIP

I own the Neve 2254A Compressor/Limiter that was in Kingsway studio that was used on that record.

Blind Melon is one of those bands that if you get it, you get it.

RIP Shannon

Love that song and his singing. And i wanted to remind everyone that Rolling Stone panned Soup as well as Led Zep I, Black Sabbath, and Are You Experienced.
