Boland just doesn't sell like he used to, for whatever reason. I don't get it at all, he has one of my favorite voices on the planet. Turnpike's killing it right now, though, so maybe with a combination of the two...

His earlier stuff was badass though. More HonkyTonk drinking songs. His newer stuff is just as good, but different.

That's around here, though, where these bands play every night of the week. Boland hasn't played in BR or surrounding areas in a while so any fans of his in that area will most likely jump at the chance to see him. Hopefully they will do well that night.
It's interesting that TT is playing in NO around the same time, though. Wonder how HOB will affect ticket sales for the Varsity and vice versa.
