Rap/Hip-Hop is dead? Proved myself wrong. check these guys out

Anyone heard of the Diemon Crew.
These guys are like 19-20 years old and there stuff is a lot better than the crap you hear today.
Russ the rapper, and extremely talented producer also. He makes some sick beats, I'm surprised these guys are not famous yet.
Bugus a rapper. this dude has sick flow and delivery.
Dartlin is sick too, also a producer.
Russ on the beats right here. made them too. pretty good for 19 year old dropout.

Damn dude their stuff is awesome, I just downloaded it all. Sucks the thread got no bites today, maybe I'll bump again tomorrow. The stuff is so well produced, they have their shite together. Idk how they aren't more famous either

That's how the music industry is. His music is cool and is good to listen to but until he makes a whole cd with radio hits, he'll never get anywhere. Simply just be a mixtape rapper.
I have been listening to Big KRIT a lot and it's almost the same way. Look at Wiz Khalifa, never heard of him until Black and yellow came out, but everything before that was legit. Rolling Papers came out and, well you see what it is now.

Personally i think we live in a Hipster culture now that will hate anything that becomes a hit and then we are pissed when something becomes a hit or mainstream which is beyond stupid

It's true. Everyone wants to see their favorite artist become big, but as soon as they do, they shoot them down. Never understood and and probably never will.

Listened to "Serenity", "In The Wind", and "Elevator" just now. I REALLY like the beats. The rapping, not so much. The actual lyrics are good, but the flow and charisma, or lack thereof, bored me a little. Still, I'll be looking out for their music as they progress. There stuff is posted on 2DopeBoyz so that's a very good look for them. Oh, and the Straight From Limbo album cover is really nice, too.

Not bad at all. I dig it. The beat had a little Dr. Dre/Parliament influence in it yet it was a laid back tune with a real chill out vibe.
They need to do live shows and play any festie they can get on to get seen. Radio probably won't love these guys so they're gonna have to do it the hard way and make the world love em through grimey hard work traveling and hustling.
