Lyrically it's pretty sick, it shows his range vocally which I think is the best ever.
I like bad guy, legacy, wicked ways, headlights, survival, basically the whole album

It's a song to show off his flow. Others have said it's lyrically sick, but he's done better. It's all about the flow on that song, and no, it's not the best rap of all time. I think Jay Z's Dead Presidents 2 is better.

"Little gay lookin boy, so gay I can barely say it with a straight face, lookin boy". Cracks me the hell up. Seriously though, Rap God initially jumped out at me more than any other song on that album, but 6 or 7 others on that album are just as sick. His part in "patiently waiting" that he did with 50 several years ago was his sickest work to date imo.

Hardly a rap fan, but this song (along with the rest of the album) really sticks out to me. But up and calling it the greatest of all time without offering any alternatives is jumping the shark a bit.
