from the email i received from chris maxwell:
"On Thursday, August 30 we are hosting the legendary RAMBLIN' JACK ELLIOTT. This is an incredible "get" and is truly an opportunity to see one of the last living legends. Jack was a contemporary of WOODY GUTHRIE and a friend and mentor to BOB DYLAN, LOUDON WAINWRIGHT, GUY CLARK, JERRY JEFF WALKER, and countless other folks in this little slice of music that we all know and love. Seat donation is $100 and we still need to fill almost 20 more seats for us to break even (that is always the goal!). If you are coming to the show, please spread the word to others. We don't advertise, so word of mouth is our only way. And Ramblin Jack knows Kristofferson…….I still haven't given up on him (and I never will!!)."
