This past weekend in Austin, Texas, R. Kelly performed for 75 seconds to a packed-house of people who payed up to $950 each to see what can only be described as a massive rip-off.

Being led into an alley by a hand drawn cardboard sign that promised a “Free R. Kelly concert” and then being beaten with a brick and robbed would perhaps have been more satisfying; at least you could file a police report.

Would've been epic if Dave Chappelle popped out and finished the concert

If you pay for an “intimate night” with R. Kelly and it takes place in a public venue, not in a hotel room with a tarp laid over the bed, do you have a right to expect a musical concert? I believe so.

Seems like rappers/hip-hop artists are usually the worst when it comes to giving the people what they paid for.

truth. This is what cooled me off in rap years ago.It translates into the worst live experience imaginable.No matter how good they are.

Makes you realize that a talented producer can sample dogs barking or someone farting and make something similarly listenable

Well...They'll play a previously proven hit song in the back-ground - then talk over it. " Then attribute the success of the "new song" to the new asinine rhymes

rap = shite

eta: public enemy had something to say imo - and there are a few others. But they are few and far between. Generally it's sexual innuendo garbage. It's basically all "the thong song."
