Question for piano players: is this "When in Rome" video scenario realistic?

It's in the first few seconds of the video. The dude plays a tune on one side of the piano, shifts over to the opposite side of the piano, and plays pretty much the same tune. Can he do something with the foot thing to make that happen? I suspect that they just did it for the video transfer from the top of the attractive woman to the bottom of the attractive woman. Sad! Thank you for your time.

No. Not with any regular acoustic piano (you could do it with a MIDI keyboard). This was just for the shot. Kind of how a lot of acoustic guitar parts are shown played on electric guitars (and vice versa) in 80s videos. Irving Berlin did have a trick piano that allowed him to transpose keys but not by octaves.
What is being heard in the track is a single octave just above middle C4 (C, D, F, E, D, E). What we see being played is at first, 1 and 2 octaves below what we hear (C2 and C3). Then 2 and 3 octave above what we hear (C6 and C7)

I can't hear this song anymore without thinking of Napoleon Dynamite. It played over the closing scene.
