I stumbled across this show this morning and just watched the entire thing. My God what a masterful Guitarist Steve Hackett is. He, along with Steve Howe have long been favs of mine. I was lucky enough to see Genesis a few times (Post Gabriel, Pre Pop) and once with Hackett. No chance of a real reunion I suppose, but man this is a fantastic reproduction. After searching, I found some tour date info I linked as well if anyone is interested. Enjoy...

Saw him do his Genesis Revisited Tour in Seattle a couple of years ago. It was mindblowing. Very underrated. He's the first guitarist I know of to do the "tapping" technique with the right hand on the fingerboard. There may have been someone before him but he's the fist one I saw do it.

Dammit Man would love to see one of these shows. I did see him with Genesis just before he left the band. I sure wish they would do a show in the south.

It's worth traveling someplace cool to see him and build a vacation around the concert. His keyboard player was damn good too. Tony Banks has nothing on him. He played perfectly that intro to Firth of Fifth with all the weird time signature changes. And to be able to see the great Genesis songs reborn, like Watcher of the Skies, Firth of Fifth, Musical Box and Suppers Ready...man it gives me chills now just recollecting it.
