Prince's greatest 3 Albums

We had a discussion about the musical genius' best albums last night. Being a Prince junkie and loving so many of his albums made this a pretty difficult task. Here is what I came up with:
#1- 1999
#2- Sign O the Times
#3- Purple Rain
Honorable Mention- Dirty Mind and Prince. Would love to hear what other Prince fans come up with.

I have been a HUGE Prince fan for almost 40 years. My personal top 3 are:
1 Parade (Under the cherry moon soundtrack)
2 Sign O'the Times
3 1999
I think from Dirty Mind through Lovesexy (1980-1988), he was absolutely ON FIRE musically. IMO, he is the most talented musician ever.
Hell, you could take his b-sides from the mid 1980s and make a monster album.
I still say he was the only straight male who could pull off the different looks he had over the years and still look cool cuz well, its Prince.
A lot of the good ole boys on this board never got past his persona to discover how great Prince was. I GUARANTEE you a lot of their "heroes" have told stories about how they melted like a teenage girl meeting N'sync if they ever jammed with him or met him, and will also tell you they didn't belong on the same stage as Prince.
