Just like Rod Stewart with his kicking the soccer ball around at his concerts. We didn’t come here to see that shite!

Pretty good? Dude could shred! It just gets missed in the style of music he played.

If you're referring to the Jimmy Fallon band guitarist, he bought him a new one, and gave him a wad of cash as an apology. He probably regretted it immediately, because I'm sure the guy was attached to the guitar and had played it a while.

And apparently smacked sinead oconner around in his front yard one time. Which is a guilty pleasure story if we're being honest

And showmanship.

While everybody was looking at dancers, his clothes, hot girls (Sheila E, Appolonia, the two sluts on keyboard way back), and a couple outrageous guitars. You need to be a guitar nerd or player yourself to focus on his hands. The Gently Weeps video is perfect. He stops playing to the crowd and is really playing for the fellow musicians onstage. He even wanders out onstage about halfway into the song. He starts nearly in the wings and slowly moves into Tom Pettys spotlight. Even the stunt where his bodyguard catches him is facing the stage.

Made the guitar sound so many different ways. Just incredible passion and sound. My favorite artist and it’s not close.

BINGO. That entire post you just made illustrates the reason Prince isn't regarded UNANIMOUSLY as the greatest ever, only by the ones that truly pay close attention.

The second best musician (whoever it is/was) really isn't that close to how great Prince truly was in ALL aspects of musicianship. And most of the others considered all-time greats (from all genres) will agree with me.

Good Point Bengal. Crazy work with the pedals. I dare anyone to watch this whole video and not agree that he was an absolute genius on the guitar.
