Jane's any day, any year.

RHCP really started to irritate me circa Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I won't debate they have some great songs and I like them a lot. Jane's is just on a different level for me.

Jane's Addiction!

I lived in the Austin area in highs school, my a-hole boss wouldn't let me off to go lolapalooza the first year. I never missed work and never asked for time off in the two years I worked for him. Every friend I had that went, said it was badass.
I went the next year in NO cause I had moved to louisiana. RHCP was kind of meh but that was after a blow up performance by Ministry. I don't think anybody could have followed that act.

Two bands I regret not seeing the most when they were around is Janes and the Pixies.

I saw RHCP in October 1991 with Pearl Jam & Smashing Pumpkins opening. Probably the best concert I've ever seen.

I always forget that I saw Pearl Jam because I never liked them. The only bands I Think I liked from that whole Seattle scene were nirvana, smashing pumpkins and a couple of songs by Alice in chains.

Loudest band I have ever seen. Ears rang for 5 days. Loved it.
