Curiously this depicts a country dance. Gramophones were very expensive and usually pitched to an upper crust clientele.

I remember the day Elvis died. I just could not understand why my mother was so upset about it. She didnt even know him.


I was about 10 years old or so. It was a sad week around our house

Same here.

I was a kid and saw it on the news and went to the kitchen and told my folks.

It didn't seem like a big deal to me but they were stunned. I remember it more due to their reaction because Elvis didn't mean that much to me.
