The art rock of Ayers seems like a less-than-ideal pairing w/The Dolls

Leonard Copeland, a folk music cult figure of the early '30s, apparently went electric later in life

This is almost as much an ad for label owner Archie Bleyer as it is for The Everly Brothers

Dr. John, Doug Sahm & Bob Dylan, Atlantic Studios, New York City, October 1972. I believe this was a session for Sahm's solo album, which had quite an all star cast.

Jimi playing right-handed?

quote:I'm sure you know better, but for those thinking your question was legit...it's pretty obvious that picture was flipped - unless he's playing a left-handed guitar upside down. If it was a traditional right-handed guitar the input and control knobs would be on the bottom (weird that it's also not plugged in...)
Jimi playing right-handed?
Here's the only other pic I could find of him with the guitar in his 'right' hand, it's very clearly reversed (note the "redenF" on the headstock):

Note also that the guitar is strung with the strings are upside down from Hendrix's perspective (a la Albert King). Hendrix played a right handed guitar but he restrung it when he played it left handed so the strings were thickest top to bottom.
My guess is that it's just a photo op of Hendrix where they gave him a right handed guitar to hold, which he held left handed, then the image was flipped. Here is a picture from presumably the same day, as it's the same guitar and he's wearing the same clothing.
