Interesting yearbook ad from Gainesville back in the day. I don't know anything about "The Taxmen" (top), but the Epics (bottom left) was an ugly kid named Tom Petty's first band. The Maundy Quintet (bottom right) featured a country picker named Bernie Leadon - back row, center, and to his left - back row, right, was Tom Petty's guitar teacher, Don Felder, who had also been learning slide guitar from Duane Allman. Leadon and Felder would be in another little band together - The Eagles of Los Angeles.

Holy shite, that cannot be Billy Gibbons on guitar on the right huh??
