he party comment was one of the most ridiculous posts I have seen on this board. As is the thread for that matter.

No it wasn't. It was an example. One of many supporting my point that the music produced by the beatles hasn't held up.

Great songs hold up. They get played at parties, and in cars with friends en route to a ski trip or a football game or the bowling alley, and at your girlfriend's house, and at your side joint's house, and in the speakers of the guy next door to you at work.....

I don't hear The Beatles in any of these or a million other settings. And I don't live a sheltered life.

Which is why nobody responded to it. Oh wait..

Neither trolling nor straight trolling.

But the more OP posts, the more I think this is a trolljob. "Bruh, I didn't hear the beatles at this party. They must suck"

Are you seriously going to say this again, after I took the time to clearly respond to it the first time.

Jesus tittyfricking Christ.

ETA: and in the post directly above, no less. Do you lack imagination, the ability to form cogent arguments, a fully functioning penis, or all of the above?

Are you kidding me? I'm not a Beatles fan at all, but if you really believe that babble you spouted off above, you are incomprehensibly dumb.

The term "incomprehensibly dumb" doesn't even make sense.

Does it make sense or not, smart guy?

Dude there's no point. You've made up your mind. 3/4 of the posts in this thread is shitting on the thread itself. From the obvious name calling, retorting to childish insults, and just blatant lying when saying "nobody listens to the Beatles", it's obvious there's no point in this. You've gotten the bites you seeked.

I mean after all, you are the expert on what a good song is and whether or not a band is good. I mean shite dude, you have Stacy's Mom and that Ho Hey song in your 100 favorite songs ever list. You know your stuff.

I think I stated my choice pretty clearly. As well as express how dumb the question was.

Your point about Paul McCartney is indeed anecdotal

As opposed to your "evidence" of "talking to lots of people" and "listening to music at parties?"

The whole debate is dumb. You won't be convinced about the Beatles because of your years of observation and getting out. Other people have spent just as long observing music around them and will completely disagree with you.

I don't give a shite if you like the Beatles or not. And you don't give a shite what I think. Seems about even.

It does make sense, if you know the definitions of the words and speak English, or if you aren't incomprehensibly dumb.

No it doesn't.

I can always always comprehend the intelligence level of someone less intelligent than myself.

On the other hand, I cannot comprehend how smart, say, David Foster Wallace was. He was on a level that I was not able to comprehend, because it was a level beyond my own.

No, you said this.

Wonderwall? I'll pick any Beatles song over that sappy garbage.

So, yes, you stated your choice quite clearly, and nothing more.

What are you arguing about here?

No it does make sense, you must be incomprehensibly dumb. As in you are so fricking stupid, I can't make my brain lower to your level.

The level at which I would think that the phrase incomprehensibly dumb doesn't make any sense.
