Yeah. they tend to hate New Americana stuff like Dr. Dog and Deer Tick. They leave that for Paste Magazine, which I'm far more instep with.

But no Sleater-Kinney?! On an indie rock list? Heck, they usually show up as the token indie band on Rolling Stone's more mainstream lists.

This wasn't an indie rock list. it's a reader list for favorite albums of the last 15 years.

Good list overall but not surpising in the top 20. I love Radiohead, Sufjan, The XX, The Strokes, Animal Collective, Bon Iver, Interpol and Kanye.

Godspeed was terribly low though and no Kayo Dot is kind of sad. oh well.
