hardcore floyd fans will know all of this already.
But Pink Floyd contributed to a movie soundtrack called Zabriskie Point back in 1970. The material was recorded back in 1969. At the time a track called The Violent Sequence appeared. More recently, the track was renamed and unfortunately cut to nearly a quarter of its full length as The Riot Scene on the Immersion Box Set. This track was a nice calm piano soundscape that eventually became Us and Them on the 1973 release of Dark Side of the Moon
The Violent Sequence
A bonus trivia mention is that the Floyd tried their hands with a half-hearted attempt of a country tune on Zabriskie Point called Crumbling Land, and alternative version called On The Highway, also part of the Immersion Box Set.
On the Highway
And one final bonus....my favorite version of Pigs Three Different Ones from a live set in '77. on the back end of the song they just jam.

Thanks! Casual Floyd fan here, can't wait to give these a listen later.
Edit: If I closed my eyes, On The Highway sounds a lot like the Grateful Dead.
