I have known Paul about 25 years. When I met him he was working at a furniture factory and occasionally played music and sang in dive bar where I would shoot pool. Interesting guy. Has succeeded at Music, Art, and Professional Boxing. He fought Roberto Duran on ESPN back in the late 80s. The fights on youtube

Didn't know he fought Duran, gives his song "It's a Great Day to Whup Somebody's arse" a whole new context.

Hammer & Nail is one of Paul's first songs he was playing back when he was playing in the dive bar in the mid 90s. It's somewhat about the Duran fight. His best stuff is when he's just playing guitar by himself and telling stories about how he came up with a song
