I know, that's what they all say. But all these old rock guys are hovering around the big "70". Frampton puts on a great show and is still pretty adept on his guitar. Saw him a few years ago in Champions Square by the Dome. He did a 20 minute version of "Do You Feel Like We Do"--check it out HERE, and I apologize for the video (I didn't take it!

I still recall a visit to Madrid by David Bowie with Frampton in tow (he was part of his band for this particular tour).

Really funny how everybody on the street recognized Bowie (who was dressed and coiffed very normally), and only recognized Frampton once they'd spent some time trying to get Bowie's autograph and making small talk.

The day after I posted this thread I saw a feature on Frampton on CBS News. He has a nerve condition (inclusion body myositis), one symptom of which is inflammation of the flexor tendons of the fingers and wrists. He's already noticing symptoms in his legs as he has fallen down a few times. Although he says his guitar playing is still up to par...for now.

As I said, see him while you can!
