Exile is chock full of greatness. It is a perfect album all the way around.
I still can´t believe an album with so many moods and sensations, closes with Soul Survivor, a song in and of itself, which would be the highlight of 99.99% of most bands´careers.
You hear Soul Survivor and you think, damn, let me hear this whole damned album again!

I get the Stones. When my buddy and I go out to a bar, we come home, fix a whiskey drink and watch Crossfire Hurricane or the Stones with Muddy Waters.
The Stones play the blues, and that is what speaks to me.

The Stones, for me, have had four absolutely perfect albums
Beggar´s Banquet
Let It Bleed
Exile on Mainstreet
Sticky Fingers
