I was at the top of the Smoothie King Center
I mean literally the top! Played his first 2 songs and we went down to 2nd level. Went sit with the handicaped people. Halfway through I went down to the floor like a pimp. Have some great pics. Amazing energy in the building.

Saw the Stones in 2006, and while Jagger runs and dances around more than Paul, they only did 20 songs of which Keith sang two, this includes the two encore songs. Even with spending 10 minutes introducing the band, and other between song filler that killed time barely a two hour show.
McCarty did 39 songs, solid three hours, no guests, no breaks, minimal between song chatter.

Sent my parents to the concert for their birthdays and they raved about how long he was up there. They said they didn't even see him drink water.

While the claim itself is a bit hyperbolic, it's hard to argue the clear superiority that the Beatles possessed in terms of songwriting.
I'm a huge fan of both groups, and I'll contend that Beggar's Banquet to Goats Head Soup is as good a run as any band has ever had...but, it's hard to top the Beatles at their best.
There is a quality I like to think that most of the greatest musical artists of all-time possess in terms of arrangements and writing, and that is epicness (or sounding "atmospheric").
When you listen to Pink Floyd, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Tool, etc. You get a sense of that alluded quality. I can't entirely describe it, but I know it when I hear it. It's something so overwhelming and powerful that it seems to akin to the great symphonic composers of the 18th and 19th centuries. It almost seems like its unworthy of a mortal.
I detect that trait in a number of Beatles songs, and not so much with the Rolling Stones.

Obviously the Stones are heavier across the board. With that being said, have you even heard of "Helter Skelter"? That was arguably some of the heaviest guitar sound recorded at the time.

However, during that second encore most of the audience over the age of 50 (about 60% of the audience) had sat back down. I can't believe so many people go to a concert these days to sit on their arse and just watch the performance like they're sitting in on a lecture at a university.

Probably because they are living with compressed/ruptured discs in their backs, and were in agony from standing for an hour and a half. I never get floor seats because of this, I was there in sec 101, and fortunately for me and my wife there was not too much standing until the encores.

We attended the sound check. Pretty cool. It was like a private concert for 139 people. He was relaxed played for about 1:15. Only song he repeated in concert was Lady Madonna. Lots of old rock and roll., like Blue Suede shoes. Got a pack pack and vegan meal. Sat on 5th row for actual concert. All in all it was a great time for all. By the way, during sound check they seated us right in front of the sound boards not in front rows. They said because the sound was best there., but would have preferred to be closer.
