Anybody else like this guys music? I think he’s pretty good and I’d like to see him do a show at the varsity.

He is alright. First time I heard him was back in college in like 2010-11. Went to high school with a. Friend of mine at the Woodlands.
His concerts are good to go to because he brings the chicks out in large amounts.
I’m not really a big fan of his new stuff, but his old stuff is pretty solid.
Not sure how much of a following he has outside of Texas at this point.

He's playing @ HOB tonight in Nola in the small room.
Should be a thin crowd I'd imagine with it being Good Friday and REK playing the big room at the same time.

Played Texas Club on March 22nd. Drew 600 people. Has a unique voice. He will be coming back.

Overall, he is just a little above mediocre.
He has a few songs that are very good, but he has a lot of crap as well. There's probably 30 Texas/Red Dirt artists Id take over him easily.
Doesnt really matter. He took his good looks to Nashville, and is recording a mainstream album. The first feeler for him was pairing him up with Danielle Bradbery on the release of "Shallow" to country radio.
