Pandora, Spotify etc... Do artist get paid per play of song?

They get paid a fraction of a penny per play. The guy from Cracker came out a few years ago, saying Pandora listeners played "Low" a million times and his royalty check was less than $17 for it.

LOL wow!!

One thing I can say is Pandora has help me find some new bands.

For example, I discovered Psychostick on there.

They came to Destin(I live in Gulf Breeze) 4 of us went to there concert so in turn we spent $130 on merchandise and tickets total all from me discovering them on Pandora. So there's that.

Small bands I'm sure that helps a lot.
