41 years ago at the Warehouse in New Orleans along with 38 Special. An epic night of Southern Rock for me, a 19 year old then. This was towards the end of this legendary concert venue, last show as in 1982. Hughie Thomasson was on fire this night, very under-rated guitarist.

What was the capacity of that place? So many legendary bands came through there.

And therein lies where you have me beat. We dug a ton of the same shite but I was 13, nearly 14 at the time. Too young to travel to NOLA for a show. You were seeing some killer shows in the late 70’s that I was a tad young for.

Love The Outlaws. Love Hughie. You’re correct. Very underrated. Bring It Back Alive is one of the greatest live albums I’ve ever owned. RIP Hughie.

I did get to see them here in Jax nine years later, before I even lived here. Was visiting my brother and we saw them at a honky tonk in July of ‘89.

I started hitting concerts around 1975. I missed a ton of great shows before that for the same problem you had. I look at that era from 69-75 and the epic shows I missed........it still hurts
