it wasn't happening, so I ordered a new Epiphone Hummingbird Pro ( standard Dread, no cutaway) in faded cherry sunburst, yesterday.
I've played them at GC and liked them, but didn't really spend a lot of time on them. Does anybody have one? Do you like it? Especially the electronics?
I can tweak it, as far as getting the set up right. I just need a serviceable spruce top with electronics, for rough working song demos, not finished recording.
Also ordered one of these, to go in one of my tellies, maybe a thinline. LINK

Is it the regular Epiphone model or the Epiphone Inspired By Gibson?

Yeah, it was one of the regular Epiphone ones. I was able to cancel the order today though. I came across a used Masterbuilt Frontier.

I've never played an Epiphone acoustic that I loved.

They look really good but seem overbuilt and don't project very well in my opinion.

Yes, there are some seagull entourages available there, but most are cutaways, or the rustic sunburst, which are cedar tops, or don't have electronics.
I specifically wanted an autumnburst spruce top, non-cutaway with electronics.
It's OK though, I really like the Masterbuilts.

Ah, yeah, all the Seagulls I've ever played were great, I hate the headstock shape though.

I played a Masterbilt once that I really liked but most were very muffled to me, all were new though so not opened up.

I had one of the Masterbilt jumbos that was fantastic, but it didn't have electronics, and I traded it for a telly, I think.
Anyway, the frontier is supposed to be here tomorrow, as well as the new Player plus telly setup from stratosphere.
Gonna be kind of like Christmas.

Unfortunately, it didn't arrive today, neither did the pickguard package. The guitar shipped FedEx, and the pickguard shipped USPS. The USPS sent me an email that there was a delay on the pickguard. I emailed stratosphere about it, but they didn't reply back yet.
First time I've ever bought a complete guitar online, it hasn't even arrived yet and I'm already disappointed.

I hear you, I'm waiting on a 1979 Martin D35 through UPS right now.

On a side note, I've shipped two guitars via FedEx lately and both arrived to their destinations early

Got an email that my guitar went out for delivery this morning at 03:30, from the FedEx facility at Eastaboga. That's only about 25 miles away, it should be here by now
It showed up at 7:30 pm. I didn't know FedEx worked that late.
I took it out of the box, and it felt a little warm, from being in that van all day, so I checked it over good, strummed it a couple of times and put it back in the box, with the styrofoam wrap around it.
I couldn't find a mark on it anywhere. Action was just about perfect. I plugged it in and the electronics work. I got it as used from ZZounds with more than 200 knocked off of the sticker price, but the only thing I could see wrong, was that the plastic wasn't on the pickguard.
I think I'm going to be happy with this guitar.
